  • DA Microfiber System - Chrysler 300C

Had some nice weather here this past weekend, and finally got a chance to use the DA Microfiber System. I was very impressed with it, and the customer was equally impressed with the results!

The car was a 2006 Chrysler 300C. It was very dirty, swirled, and just dull looking.

    Process:
    -Wash, Clay, Wash, tape trim
-D300 with G100 set to 1 click under speed 5*
    -D301 with G100 set to speed 4*
-Ultimate Wax Paste with G100 using 4" finishing pad
    -Ultimate Protectant on black trim
-Last Touch to wiped down wheels
    -Endurance Gel on tires
    -Stoners Invisible Glass on windows

    Before and After:

    And some more afters:

*I found this thread Dual Action Polisher Comparison Chart and used it to compare the recommended speeds of the DA Microfiber System when using the G110v2, with the speeds i have on the G100. Thought i would share the link, maybe it will help someone else. Thanks to Mike Phillips for the Chart.

I'm thinking maybe i can use this new system as an excuse to finally upgrade to the G110v2. lol.

    Thanks for looking,
    Rob

That's a really nice work, Rob.

If that was my car I'd be very happy too. It looks great.

Great job on the 300!!! The paint looks stunning after the detail!

Did the UW make the paint look better compared to the finishing wax?

The UW made it look darker. After i finished with D301 i pulled it into the sun and the flake was just crazy looking, after the UW the flake was still bright but the black was alot deeper.

Thanks everybody, for the kind words.

Thanks! Everything you have been reading is true, its just a great system. I had been following it since it was announced, and ordered it the day it was released. It made the job, not feel like a job. I couldnt be more pleased.

now i just need some more good weekends, so i can use it some more

How long did it take? My son has a 2006 Magnum SRT with the same paint. I was thinking about the MF system for his car.

Im not really sure? i had 10 hours into it when i had finished with the MF system, but I spent a lot of time in the beginning with washing and claying. Also in that amount of time i had people stop over, stopping for lunch, and i just wasn't in a huge hurry. I'm sure i could have done it faster, but i was able to keep the car for most of the weekend, and didn't feel the need to rush it.

A very nice result! Looks like a different color in the side by side shots! That's a great way to show your work by the way.

Thanks, i was able to take the after shots at the exact same time of day as the before shots the previous day, then i thought of the side by sides. Glad you liked them. it was fun doing them.
