Two days before the snow hit! I washed and waxed my car today while snow was still on the ground

        That is one beautiful Z!

One of my co workers will sometimes show up in his wifes baby blue Z...
Although it is no where near as nice as yours (paint's pretty neglected), and it's probably sitting in 2 feet of snow now, they live in NJ.

I feel ya about the snow, we lucked out and only got about 2 inches.

Keep up the great work and she'll turns some heads and maybe even cause a few fender benders!

In a word Kyle. Black is the only colour. You have done a great job .

I have a black pearl VW. And I completed its first detail of the year 3 days in total. Have you tried gold class plus on top of nxt 2.0? I only use Megs products also.

After correcting the paint. I sealed it with nxt 2.0. I then left the car for 12 hrs then topped it with Gold Class Plus. Have to say it makes the paint pop.

My car will be getting its weekly wash on Fri. And I will be topping it with Gold Class plus again.

As the weather is a bit poor hear in the uk. I cant spend as much time on my black beauty as I would like. In the summer months last year it would get detailed 2-3 times a week. Roll on the summer!!!

And Kyle keep up the good work

Using gold class and NXT was actually one of the first combinations I had ever used. Next time I detail, I will most likely use both. Detailing 2-3 times a week? I thought I was crazy to wax every 2 weeks! your on top of your game!

. I have found Gold Class Plus on top of nxt works best. I remember another memebr on Mol. Also told me about this. The thing that alot of people think is that nxt is a wax and its a sealent. A wax is something you put on top and nxt just seals all your hard work from machine polishing.

Back to my detailing. I'm a bit ODD with my detailing with it being my daily drive I hate it looking dirty/dusty.

Another MOL quote a black car owns you dont own it. And its very true. Its the hardest colour i have had to maintain but god does it look good.

Man Kyle that is some serious shine. I need to get my car up to that level. I have a few shows to do this year so I better get on the ball. Have you tried the new UW?

I'm obsessed about the whole dust thing too, I usually wash twice a week and use UQD once or twice a week. It is true, my car does own me!

No, I haven't tried the new UW I still have a good 8 or 9 bottles of different boutique waxes in my garage I plan on burning through before picking up the new UW.

Given the frequency that you wax, it wont take long to burn through them. What boutique waxes do you have?

As of right now, I have three new bottles/tubs of chemical guys 5050, butter wet wax, and xxx hard core wax. I also have a few tubs of gold class paste, a bottle of nxt, and a few other random wax's from other less important manufactures

Sounds like a nice collection. I would leave one of each on the shelf just for collection but its up to you.
