Those are 3M® carbon-fiber texture film Tim. Lovely work on the Cooper ;-)
Thanks Darren. Appreciate the kind words.
For those who is not familiar with MacDude, he is the epitome for truly high end detailing work for Asia (might also be further out). Check his link out to see what I mean. (major drool!)
Great work Tim! I always love how well you document all the before and after defects with top notch pics too!
Sharp looking Mini BTW!
Haven't had the chance to try the Gtechniq coating yet, but Opti-Coat has been amazing! These new coating are going to change the way we protect are paint IMO.

Indeed Chad! Great to have these coatings around for those special conditions. Thank you for the kind words.
Great job Tim!!! You brought that paint to another level. What was the owner's reaction?
I love the detailed pics you post. It really shows the work you put into that car.
Thank you Marc08EX. He was very happy to see it properly polished and protected. We had a long talk regarding the exterior paint and hopefully he'll stick to the regime we've plan for him.
Great work, Tim. In those sun shots. You can really see the depth and clarity in the paint. The reflections are fantastic. Once again, great job. Way to go.
Thank you J.A. I did not adjust the saturation (what you call that color temp or something) on my camera, so it came out looking a bit blueish. I concur, I do love the gloss after its all polished up.
Have anyone used UC + yellow pad via G110v2 to remove water spots on the windshield and glass?
Thanks EPHIOS.
Yes I have tried it and it managed to remove above surface contaminants. For hard ingrained waterspots, I believe rotary+M04 or Cerium Oxide might help. But that's from my side of the world.
