Thanks for the comments everyone, we really enjoyed working on this work of rolling art! The "Jet Age" styling cues are awesome on this car!

Interesting note - we are yet to find a paint, old or new, single stage or multi stage, lacquer, enamel, you name it - that doesn't *love* the M105/M205 combo!

As Mike and I started working on older paints, we thought some of the older technology products such as M83 and M80 would work best. Not the case! M105 and M205 have outperformed every other product in *every case* !

Sure did, and it's been passed on to the proper group. You should be hearing from then within a few days.

Cool project, and fantastic work on your part. That damp sanding process is pretty cool, isn't it?

Please post up the owners comments when/if you get any feedback. We're sure they'll be thrilled with the finished product - you guys did an outstanding job.

By the way, we edited your post to pull out all those extra [IMG] tags and clean it up a bit. Too nice a post for a bunch of silly code to be getting in the way!

Hey guys, great work. The Studebaker looks fantastic. I can see why the shop owner was thrilled with your work. Way to go, guys.

Yeah, Pine Top/Lakeside and Show Low. this summer we're trying to do more work up there in the summer instead of working in 115 deg heat. We about killed ourselves last summer doing 2 and 3 cars a weekend.

I know you mentioned before the where abouts that you do the work. Was that up around Pine did you previously say?

Thanks GTO Don. The new damp sanding process rocks! and what else can you say about m105 and M205 but that they kick butt! We have a couple more Studebakers coming up in the next few weeks, one of them is the owner of the Studebaker Ranch. We loved working in his shop! Plenty of room and 35 degrees cooler than here in Phoenix.

Studebakers are such cool looking cars. I wish car designers would take more cues from early model cars. And that one is no exception.

    Peace
