Hellooooo MOL,
sorry for not postings my works but its winter here, its cold, and buisness is slow because of the weather, but now the sun is showing up a bit, well on to the post, i recently recieved a cal from a client to do a full correction on his 2008 Subaru Wrx Sti Hatch, its black and he lives in a apartament complex so the only way he can clean his car is thru a CARWASH, well as you can see in this short car life, the damage made by the washes was very severe, thats why i recomend to people to wash their own cars, its not hard, you will be taken good care of the paint (using right products and techniques) and also its fun.

disculpen no haber posteado antes pero es invierno por aca, el clima esta frio y el negocio habia bajado bastante por eso mismo, pero el sol se esta apareciendo y las llamadas entrando, bueno recientemente recibi una llamada de un cliente recomendado para hacer una correcion completa de su 2008 Subaru STI, es negro el auto, el dueno vive en un departamento asi que la unica forma que tiene para lavarlo es en el "carwash", como pueden ver el dano echo por esos lavados fue bastante considerando lo nuevo del vehiculo, por eso recomendo a la gente que lave sus propios autos, no es dificil, vas a cuidar tu pintura (usando productos correctos y tecnicas) y tambien es entretenido..

iam not a morning person but the way santiago looks in the morning is beautiful, you can see the sun going up right behind the LOS ANDES mountain

no soy muy bueno para despertar temprano, pero santigo se ve bonito en las mananas, aqui se ve como el sol sale por las montanas
now i got to drive the sti home, about an hour trip in morning rush trafic,
Ahora a manejar el sti a casa, como una hora por el trafico de las mananas.
well i got home and still was cloudy, so its gonna be a cold day to detail!

well lets start the inspeccion to see what we were u against
comenzemos la inspeccion para ver lo que teniamos en contra.
WOOW alot of work!! i wetted a panel to check for wax presence...like i thought.. no protection! no beading, sheathing NUTTIN
UFFF bastante trabajo!! moje un panel para revisar la precencia de cera... y como lo imagine no tenia nada de proteccion.
So we started with a prewash via foam gun, with a mixure of diluted apc and Soft Wash mixed with 1/4 gallon of warm water, my hands were freezing by this time.
Comenzamos el trabajo con un prelavado, via foam gun, con una mescla de apc diluido y soft wash con 1 litro de agua caliente, ya que en esta etapa estaba congelado.
Then car was presure rinsed and washed via bucked method agitaded using a Megs microfiber Wash mitt. again using soft wash (note my jacket.. yes its cold)

El auto fue enjuagado a pression y despues lavado normarmente con cubeta, fuante de fibra y soft wash noten mi chaqueta.. sii hacia frriiiooo
Now to clay! i did a 1x1 foot area- Ahora a descontaminar.. hacer un area de 30cm en la puerta
and got this!! y recibi esto!
yup brake dust!!!
Sip polvo de frenos encrustado en los costados.
An excuse to make another order? HAHAH
Una excusa para mi proxima orden? JAJA
well as you know, a finishing pad and 205 was not gonna be enough for this, we needed something more agresive to cut tru the defects quickly. 105 was called in with mr wool pad. it might seem agresive, but this cutted paint like butteeerrr, left mild holgrams that would be picked up latter with the DA. polish dust was everywere!! normay i would tape up every single thing before polishing, but found out "for me" that its quicker to just polish and then wash the vehicle again when done,
bueno como se imaginan, algo suave no sera bastant para correguir esto, asi que usamos algo mas agresivo para cortar por la pintura rapido, 105 con lana fue usado. se ve agresivo pero ese combo corta como mantequilla! dejo hologramas leves los cuales seran levantados con la siguiente etapa.
and now some finished pixs... the only thing that was bad that i didnt have any sun for those awsome pics you like, enjoy the SHINEEE after 18 man hours!!

Ahora unas fotos terminadas.... lo unico malo es que no habia sol para las fotos finales pero buenoo.. disfruten el brillo despues de 18 horas laborales
now gotta drive back to deliver this NEW car!! for those that ask how quick it is! i drive mi clients car with respect like its my own vehicle!
Ahora a manejar de regreso a dejar el auto.. para los que preguntan como de rapido es... no lo se.. yo simpre manejo los autos de mis clientes con mucho respeto, como si fuera mi auto.
