    This is really cool... and funny. As I was reading the post, I wasn't expecting you to keep the car half and half but I applaud you for keeping it that way. Its a perfect constant reminder of how a little detailing can make the paint look so much better.

    My Beloved 2face...... i was suppose to detail my uncle 2008 Camry on Sunday preparing for Chinese new year
    but both my princess not well, initially plan to go out to collect medication & going for the detailing, but decided to called off & as need to attend to her

    Upon seeing her better....i decide to make full use of my afternoon with some engine detailing on my beloved

    oxidized, dull, dead paint....''boss mesti hantar cat la'' mean sorry - need to be repainted...no cure...that is what the paint shop(body shop) advise me - even the technician of a reputable international detailing supplies company so i did
    after my attempt

    quick interior 1/2 done

    Furthest left,original dull state
    Middle area (darker side) - Meguiars Gold class Vinyl detailer
    right side - cleaned by Meguiars APC with brushes & quick detail Meguiars Gold class Vinyl detailer





    conclusion only a clean surface bringing up brillant shine on the dash



    the detail side




    no short cut

    water behavior on 2face

    original dull side & water splattered ....water remain there


    the detail side
    water disperse ...breaking into smaller fraction



    conclusion...a detail & protected side is always well protected as the harsh environment
