Thanks for the great read and pictures of the superior work. BTW, if memory serves, that 427 Cobra was something like 10 or $11,500 brand new. The ad copy had a line that went something like this, "Zero to a 100 and back to zero in 13.5 seconds."

I really dig that Kurtis 500KK Sutton Roadster. My favorite has to be the 1967 Ford Super Mustang dragster.

Oh no no no no!!! I would have jumped at a chance to polish up a warehouse full of old cars but they would have had to wait until this white stuff was gone!

those must have been some great 10 days to experience. :]

To be honest you forget which day is which, so it was more like a long blur of great experience. Of course there are a couple times when you look across at eachother, 25 hours straight in to polishing, and think ,"What the heck are we doing." The good news is that sleep deprivation actually makes time go by faster!

You are my heroes I would never have dared to come next to these cars with a rotary or even a waxing pad and I did my share of ferraris and muscle cars.

Thanks! I was a little nervous at first (on the 427 Cobra) which is why we named it Eleanor. It as the one I didn't want to do but had to conquer, if that makes sense.
