I've always loved these trucks and wanted one for many years. Only thing was they really weren't what you'd expect having a small truck with a 360 in it. A lot of the magazine reviewers at the time weren't all that impressed, either. Still a sweet looking truck, IMO. Opening her up to a 408 sure wouldn't disappoint, I'm sure.
Thank you! I love the truck to death. Hope to open the block up to a 408 this winter with some 2.02 heads on it. Pretty unique trucks with a low production number. Sure do get a lot of stares from mustang drivers.
Recently, just been claying when needed and using Quick Detailer. Picked up a ton of regular QD from a store that was closing for dirt cheap and I've been using it like crazy for touch ups. Also use NXT wax. I've got boxes full of meguiars products but don't really need to use them on this truck so it just sees the basic touch up products.
For my wheel wells, I just take a few drops of NXT soap and put it in a spray bottle with some water and give them a good wipe down. Underside of the truck is also spotless. I've got OCD with this truck and it inclines me to clean everywhere possible.
As for the Tires, I've never been a fan of dress up products. I think tires look best when they look like they just rolled out of the tire store. Clean to the touch.
Thank You! I've been changing the truck around since I bought it. Recently picked up a shaker hood to get the 5.9 under the hood some fresh air. Crappy phone picture but basic idea: Has since been painted to match
Few others older ones:
I even keep the Beater clean lol Here's what a 20 year old interior looks like:
