  • 2005 F-150 rehab

    Here is a 2005 F-150 i did Saturday. This thing was in pretty bad shape. It made me sick to my stomach when I got it.

    Interior:

    Apc on EVERYTHING !!!!
    Bissell Carpet cleaner
    Invisible Glass
    Megs supreme protectant

    Exterior:

    Wash twice to remove as much grit as i could
    Megs clay and Final Inspect
    2 passes on rotary with 105 and Megs heavy cut wool Pad
    1 Pass with 205 on polish pad
    2 coats ox NXT
    Turtle Wax Ice tire shine

    After 14 Long hours of cussing and buffing !!









    Some reflection shots. There are some rain drops on the hood so ic had to get it back inside.

    Nice rescue! Those before interior shots are exactly why I didn't get an F150. Had enough of an easily dirtied interior with my Malibu to go and get another. Great job with the truck!

      I think that was more than a rehab. The before pics were indeed nasty. Great job and great courage my friend.

        Thanks guys. The paint on the truck was terrible. The owner told me he had it detailed about 6 months ago and the truck was covered and swirls. The shop he took it to said that it was normal and thats what all the vehicles look like. Needless to say he wont be going back to them.

            P/s i suggest u to get a camera stand
            i had problem in taking pics after exerting few hours in detailing & i find it help to stabilized my feeble arms
            it only takes a little patience and plenty of PASSION!!
