I detailed this BMW yesterday. I started at 8am and ended at 6pm. For being only six years old this car was in bad shape. A very oxidized roof and hood, dirty caked brake dirt dust on the wheels, a wrecked interior. And the owner parks this car under a tree so you know the rest. This paint was a little tough to work with, I was only able to get away with 80-85% correction.

    Process:

    1. Wash with NXT Generation Car Wash
    2. Clay with Smooth Surface Clay Kit and #34 - Final Inspection
    3. Ultimate Compoundon a SoftBuff 2.0 Polishing Pad
    4. Wax with Gold Class Liquid Wax on a SoftBuff 2.0 Finishing Pad

    Other Products Used:

    Quik Wheel Detailer
    #40 - Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner
Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Gel

Nick, your starting to produce cars like a assembly line.

Great work, once again. That is a huge improvement. way to go.

I was wondering the same thing - how did you clean up those wheels so good? Awesome job, Nick!

The car looks great! I do have a question though. If I remember correctly, when you first started detailing cars for this client, you settled on a price per car. It seems that some cars are taking quite a bit longer than others. Are you getting the same price for each car? Are you doing the same steps on each car and some are just taking longer? Just curious...all the cars are turning out great!

just fyi though im pretty sure you were detailing an e39 (5series) not a 3 series.

Nice Work Nick, Should I look back tomorrow for another car? Jeez the business sounds like its coming in nice and steady, way to go!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

                        I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
                        Remove swirls my friends.

This vechile was for someone else. But for my main client that I do all the cars for it depends on the size, condition, etc. We went away with the standard price which he agreed to since some cars were taking so long and required a lot of work.

Another awesome job. You are becoming one of the elite detailers on MOL. Keep up the good work and find something to practice on with a rotary to expand your limitations.
