  • 1999 Plymouth Neon

My dads car. Never been waxed or anything. Basically just washed once in a while at a do-it-yourself car wash. Didn't do much to it

    Process:
    Turtle wax car shampoo
Meguiar's smooth surface clay w/ ice detailer
    Meguiar's cleaner wax
    Turtle wax ice polish- paint+trim

Turtle wax wet n black on wheels

I see you're still using Turtle Wax products. Looks like we need to get you completely converted. JK, I'm just messing with ya. The car looks good. Did you try to do anything with the headlights? They look atrocious!

Actually, I had used Turtle Wax in the past, but it just didn't give me what I wanted. Then I found Meguiar's. Bye bye Turtle Wax!

Pretty clean paint for a 99. Good job.

                  Thanks everyone!

I was going to fix the headlights, but couldn't find my sandpaper to wet sand them, so just left them. But will fix them later.

And of course, the Turtle Wax products, found the shampoo and tire shine in my dad's basement, so put them to use. Ice polish, wanted to try it out, so I bought it.

If you don't have sandpaper I saw a trick on a car show.....try using mothers chrome polish a regular rag. Give it about two good coats and rub really hard. I have had some good success with this little trick. Good luck.

If you could get a hold of the Headlight Restoration kit, that would be good, but if not, try to get a hold of some PlastX. It would really do wonders for those headlights and make visibility at night so much better.
