  • Presidential Detailed: Reconditioned 350Z Injen Exhaust

Hope this is the right place, I do a lot of work for a local shop here in tampa and I was called in to polish a set of exhaust pipes that came off a twin-turbo 350Z. He sold the exhaust to another member who owns a show car and wanted them polished before picking them up. I had no idea I would be able to get a finish like this out of them though!

    Products Used:
    -#0000 Steel wool by Hand
    -Using Adams Metal Polish #1
-Lots of Cobra Jr. Deluxe MicroFiber Towels
    -Meguairs G110 DA Machine with
-Lake Country White 5" Flat Pad
-Using Adams Metal Polish #2 at Speeds 4-5
-Sealed with two coats of Optimum Opti-Seal

    This is one side before..

Now after side by side to show the difference.

Touched these up real quick as well..

Both sides finished in S&R Showroom.

damn, for being used, those look awesome. I just picked up some 0000 steel wool, looking forward to using it soon. So it was a combination of the steel wool AND the metal polish at the same time?? or steel wool first with a cleaner, then the polishing pad and the product?

Same time worked better, I tried it with cleaner and found that with the metal polish it was doing just as good of a job and killing two birds with one stone.

It's designed to be used on metal surfaces.
It's a dry soap that you just add water and start working, the thing is so easy to use and mainly I just it on very hard tasks like chrome spoke wire wheels on bikes, that have been neglected, so easy to restores and you don't have to worry about product residue.

It won't give you a "perfect finish" so you'll have to follow with other products but it sure can maximize your time

If you YouTube it I think you can find some videos
