Picked up the halogens from sears...think their Craftsman. Each light has on on/off switch and two settings for brightness.

    Great job!!
Now that black paint looks how it is supposed too!!!
I noticed your halogens look like the ones I got at Lowes, UtiliTech.
Mine is a 1000 Watt, but I saw that one was turned off, how did you do that?

    2005 Black Monte Carlo recovery

I did this detail for one of my best buds. He recently purchased this car with only 30,000 miles on it but from the before pictures you will be able to tell that the paint has had a rough life so far. The initial befores in the sunlight were taken back in July when the car was purchased the detail was performed at the end of September and the after pictures were about 3-4 weeks after that.

    Tools:
    Flex 3401
    Dual Halogens
    Brinkmann
    Universal pad washer
    UDM
    Various Brushes
    Nikon D40

    Product/Process:
    Two-bucket method
Wash using DP Auto-bath and SchMitt
    Meguiars Blue clay
    WW drying towels
Megs super degreaser on tires and wheel wells
Hyperdressing on tires and wheel wells.
Megs 105 on White CCS @ speed 6 (paint was quite soft and this was amazing how well it finished down.)
3M Ultrafina on Black CCS @ speed 4-5
Pinnacle Souveran on Red CCS @ speed 2 on UDM

    Before:

This picture shows many buffer trails from someone using machine/chemical improperly.

This is the day the car showed up for the detail. Tons of tree sap and other containments.

Very little/no protection on the paint.

Sorry not many before/after under the halogens.

    Before:

    After:

Afters were taken about a month after the detail occurred, car was only washed and wiped down with Z6 and Z8 with Hyper-dressing sprayed on the tires. (sorry no direct sun shots, it was about 9PM when the pics were being taken.

    One very happy friend.

    Thanks for looking!!
