2007 Honda Civic

Like the title says this is a 2007 Honda Civic, was bought in North Carolina and shipped to Dominican Republic so the owner wanted me to see the car because he thought it was in "great shape". Upon inspection I showed him the defects the car had so he wanted it detailed but what matter him the most was the shine, he wanted a very nice deep wet look paint, so I focused on this

Here is what I encountered

Swirls & Water spotting









Washed the car to see what was behind the grime and dirt

















This is the roof, was awful. Lots of swirls, water spot, over spray and stains I don't know from what







I finished too late to get the sun in the parking lot, the sun was behind the building so I could get pics in the sun but I tried to do my best with the flash of the camera







The final results, the owner liked it a lot, so that's the important thing

Swirls and scratches I think they are easier to get in the sun but some defects I think they are easier to get in the garage and let the flash/halogen/dual xenon spotlight do the job because I find that sometimes the sun is so intense that the camera can't focus well.

Sure.

Wash - Two bucket method using Shampoo Plus
Clay - C-2000 mild clay with Last Touch (1:1)
M105 - Rotary with polishing pad (~1100RPM)
D151 - G110 with the polishing pad (speed setting 5)
M07 - Hand applied with Microfiber Even Coat Applicator
NXT 2.0 - G110 with the finishing pad (speed setting 3)
M135 - I waited for a while to use this products.
Hyper Dressing on the wheel wells
Meguiar's Hot Shine High Glass Tire Gel
Quik Interior Detailer
Meguiar's Glass Cleaner Concentrate

Very nice work!!! The reflection shots are amazing!!!! By the way do you like the glass cleaner you use?? I'm trying to fine one that I like..... I tried NXT and not impressed at all, I find myself grabbing the Last Touch for the windows!!!

Excellent work! The paint looks wet and deep. The before and after shots look like two different cars.

Great glass cleaner!
I've used NXT as well and it's pretty good but what I like about this one is that it leaves the glass amazing, has great smell and well 1 gallon is equal to 11 gallon of class cleaner so hey you get a lot in a gallon

What is the problem with NXT? I began with this product and I got amazing results with it as well

What is your opinion of the Shampoo Plus. How did you like it?

When I began I washed with NXT and then moved to Gold Class, both great products. Shampoo Plusa is something from another planet, amazing product. The results you get just by washing are great, if the car is well maintained then just by washing with this shampoo you get brilliant results, if you are washing in the open don't worry about having the soap "dry" because when you rinse you won't be left with any soap residue at all!

I've been wanting to try out the #62 Car Wash Shampoo, I've spoken to Tim and he has mentioned that it great, just waiting to put my order and include it

Great work bro! I really like the flakes in the Honda NBP paint and the reflections look amazing!!
