  • My Mach

Just detailed my Mach 1 yesterday and it took me all day so I took pics today to show the result. I didn't get all the swirl marks out, but a lot of them at least. I guess next time I'll just do 3 or 4 passes of M80. But here it is, hope it's up to par.

Oh, yea, wash, clay, M80, #7, NXT tech wax, and then Meguiars paste wax this morning too.

It sure looks good in those pics!

If it takes more than 3-4 passes with the #80, than you should step up to a more aggressive product IMO.

Have you tried, or do you have anything stronger at your disposal?

Just checked on those spots in pic #4, but there's nothing on the car. I'm confused.

No I do not have anything more aggressive unfortunately, but I'll most likely pick something up soon. I'll be doing another complete detail before winter strikes.

          Re: My Mach

I think the spots are either dust on your lens or digital image blur.

It looks really really good from here.

I think it is time for #83, D151, or both!

Looks awesome. Nice work. Try 83 works really good. I have not tried 80 yet on mine It looks like you had a great outcome with 80.

The mach looks wet. Great work. Awesome reflections. Way to go.

                          Re: My Mach

Thanks for all the compliments. And I actually do have D151, I was going to use both M80 and D151, but I called Meguiars and they said that it wasn't really made to be used together as D151 is a cut/polish/wax product. So I retract my previous statement about not having anything more aggressive, I do. I guess I know what I'll use next time.

And Golden, I do agree with that. Although, I got rid of the stock exhaust and put an MRT catted-H and SLP LMI catback.

Thanks! Ahh, that could be it. I unfortunately dropped my camera due to my dogs, but nothing broke, but that could be the reason why.

Do you mean I shold have used the M80 on a test spot to see if it got rid of the swirl marks? I did, and it got rid of them on the test spot. I might have just not done as good of a job on the other spots as I could have, but I'm still happy with the results. And thanks too!

No, I'm sorry, it's just not up to par. You'll have to send that poor neglected Pony to me right away!

Really, it looks outstanding. Nice job.
