Work like that, especially on a flat hood shape like that make great before and after shots that you can use to showcase your work to potential clients.
If you can next time you get a job like that tape the hood across from wheel to wheel and buff out only one half to perfection and then frame the car back up into the exact same position in the sun and take your 'after' shot.
The the final shot after the entire hood is finished. Because the sun is moving, if you can make it work, just do the hood to get the shot and then do the rest of the car. Makes the job take longer but capturing great before, half-and-half and after shots can be leveraged to your advantage, especially on higher-end cars.
