Nice work with just a DA. What other products did you use to detail the interior and dress the exterior trim/tires? All Season Dressing? GC Trim?

Nice job! How many passes did you make to remove the swirls and what did you use? Is that cc or ss paint?

Good job. That's cool that you were able to jump from #83 straight to Gold Class. Definitely a time saver. I think only once or twice I was able to go from #83 to a LSP. Good job.

    Swirled Out 560SEL Mercedes Benz

The owner of this car has a deep passion and is very sentimental about this Mercedes Benz. For the most part this car has been well kept, except when his wife has been in it. That is another story. Lets just say that the car is not safe with her behind the wheel. I was asked to restore the condition of the car in and out. The interior was not too bad, I extracted the carpets and conditioned the leather amongst all the other usual interior cleanup. The paint had alot of cobweb swirls. Washed with Hyper Wash followed by claying. Then I used M83 with the DA on a W8006 pad. I followed with Gold Class liquid wax by hand. I was pretty happy with the results only using the DA. I am sure I could have gotten all the swirls out with a rotary, but that was not what I was being paid for.

    Here are the before shots:

Ouch! The paint looks dull and filled with swirls. You can see the water spots.

A closer look at the hood.

Yikes. Those are some nasty swirls.

Stepping back the paint doesnt look so bad.
