I've seen Mike Phillips go from DA/M83 to LSP without a problem. Check out the 1999 Black Corvette in Extreme Makeovers
Those wheels looked like they had never been washed since it left the dealership! I hope you educated them on appearance care so your detail job wasn't in vain!

I didn't get a chance to look at it direct sun that day because the sun was on its way down. I did get a chance to see the car in direct sunlight a few days later and didn't see any marring.

wow, you went from #83 to the LSP?
I have heard horror stories about how soft newer Jet Black BMW's are and I would think that would have almost certainly left marring...if not, awesome, because I have one scheduled for this week!
