2000 Acura TL. Not in very good shape. Rubbed out several paint transfers using Meguiars SratchX, then went over the car with Meguiars #9 with a polishing pad, then applied NXT with a polishing pad.

1999 Mercedes ML 430. I've been taking care of this one since new, used to wash it every week but my customer's remodeling job cost more than he thought, so I see his vehicles quarterly now. Meguiars #80 on the hood, then VM on the whole vehicle (polishing pads for both) and NXT by polishing pad.

2002 Mercedes S600. Another regular customer. I detail the car about 2-3 times a year. His wife drives it and likes to wash it herself, usually using a brush that would normally be used for an RV so it was scratch city on the horizontal parts especially. Meguiars #80 with a cutting pad on the hood and trunk lid, then #80 with a polishing pad on the whole car, followed by NXT Tech Wax with a polishing pad.

Yes, I know the image is reversed, that is the way Wolf Camera put it on the picture CD.

1991 Lexus LS400. Not too bad of shape for its age. Meguiars #9 with a polishing pad and EX w/carnauba:

Here are a couple using #16 Pro Paste Wax, although I did use other manufacturer's glazes (as much as I like #81, it still isn't as easy to use as the two I used on these cars).

Polished with Poorboy's Polish w/carnauba and topped with Meguiars #16 Pro Paste Wax--very, very wet combo!

Last one. 2004 Lexus LS430. Again, the owner made the wise choice and didn't let the dealer wax it. Vanilla Moose with a polishing pad and Meguiars #16.

I can polish more evenly and deeply using the PC than by hand. I can still apply wax a lot faster by hand though.

Actually, the town in King of the Hill is based on Garland, not Arlington. I will say hi to any Texas Rangers I see for you though.

                      Great job !
May I ask the reason you use a Polishing Pad instead of a finishing pad with your last step product ?

You mean with NXT? Because NXT seems to work best with a polishing pad instead of a finishing pad.
