  • My weekend's detail

This comes to you all a little late. I just got some sunlight this afternoon after work so I took the opportunity to snap some pictures to see what you all thought. Thanks for taking the time to look.

    My process was:

    Single wash with GC
    Clayed the entire car
Two coats of NXT 2.0 on paint and wheels.
Tires were coated lightly with Hot shine but that has since slung off .
All glass wiped down with RainX (sorry but i don't know of a Meguiars rain repellent)

By the way, Mike, you were right about trying something new. I love the NXT 2.0.

Very nice, very nice! You have the 99-01 Cobra Wheels?

That's correct, I actually bought the car with them on it.

I was going to change them but have grown rather fond of them recently

Looks great! That's why I like black vehicles.

Nice looking house/condo too. I like the stone work with the white trim.

Nice Mustang! (from a fellow '04 owner, hehe)

Just so you know, Ford offered the polished '01 Cobra wheels as an upgraded wheel option on the 2004 Mustang GTs (I think they might have done it in '03 as well). Definitley one of the best OEM Mustang wheels in my opinion.

Wow (hi yalerd), that looks great - you did an awesome job on that black paint!

I have to ask though..... does that car look like it's sitting higher than normal for a Mustang? The wheel gap looks really big. Have you thought about lowering it just a little? Not slamming, just dropping it a bit? Great looking car, must be all kinds of fun to drive.

              It's an amazing product

Mustangs come 4x4 from the factory. That is usually one of the first "mods" done.

Yeah, that house in the background has kept me from any mods right now. I am planing on exhaust, springs and cold air next summer.
