    Ford Fiesta 1.4 Flame 2004
My First Mobile Clean. I was asked if I could clean my cousins girlfriends new car, It’s a Ford Fiesta 1.4 Flame on a 04 reg In Panther Black Metallic. I packed my boxes of cleaning products into my boot. With the weather being sunny I did not need my lights just kept turning the car around, and helped not being confined within a garage for a change.
    Start :10 am
The car was mainly clean and had just been driven from the sellers. But my cousin gave me a bottle of NXT Generation Shampoo that he had got for Christmas and isn’t really fussed about cleaning cars. I was impressed by the NXT cleaned the car well, and when I had dried it (chamois and MF) no water marks or anything.
Next Task I was considering claying but wasn’t too bad but will be done at some point. On to the 3m masking tape and cover the trim, door handles, mirrors, grilles and rubbers etc. Now to test what the PC would do, started out with Megs #80 and Sonus SFX2 polishing pad. There were no real scratches but mainly light to medium swirl marks. After another go with #80 still wasn’t looking good enough for me.
Stepped up to #83 with the polish pad and each panel took 2 hits with plenty of pressure and speed 6 in really bad areas (not recommended as it knackers the pads quickly). This paint is as tough as nails.
By the time I was done with #83 it was 1.30pm and glad that the hard part was over. Then onto #80 again this time with the finishing pad and this seemed to take no time at all. And a finish by hand with the foad applicator and Gold Class Liquid Wax. De-mask the car and buff the polish off. Dressed Trim with a combination of Meguiars Trim Detailer and Autoglym Rubber and Vinyl Care. Tyres were dressed with Megs Hot Shine Tyre Spray.
I apologise for poor quality camera phone pics but forgot my digital camera and get a chance to get befores but they probably would have been that good anyway.

    Thanx for Looking
