This is my 4th black Bimmer for April (my eyes are worn out..LOL). The paint wasn't in too bad condition, but had some scratches and a lot of swirls. I decided to change tactics on scratch repair from wet sanding to Wool pad.
Swirl shot...most of the cars we get have these because they are BMW Lease cars coming from an auction.

Here's a scratch on the door curve of the car

One of the learning curves using wool is buffing until the compound is completely worked. Prior to learning this, I was using wool, then working with a cutting pad to remove the wool's finish.
In process shot

Following the wool, I was able to go right to #83 for polish, then glaze to finish up the paint. Used #26 as my last step and the paint is super deep black.
Finished shots: Enjoy!

Nice deep black in the sun

Reflection shots

Last shot (we removed a trim piece on the bumper for re-paint...the dealer likes to show "perfect" cars)
