    Re: Roush Edition F-150

I like putting #16 on top of #26. I have found that the #16 bonds ontop of the #26 fine, as I get that characteristic 16 waterbeading (super tight beads) that last for 5 months or so (which shows no decrease in durablity). I also retain that liquid wet depth that #26 produces, so for me its a win-win situation.

Here are some pictures of my daily driver with #26 topped with #16

Some of that famous waterbeading (that lasts for months and months and months )

I have found that F-150 paint is very workable and have had amazing results from as little as one pass of M80 via PC. Goodluck.

That was just a couple passes of m80 via PC. It will get topped with a #26/#16 combo. As layering is always a hot topic, which do you guys think should go on top, 16 or 26?

That was some improvement on your test spot. Can hardly wait for the rest of the pics of the truck when you are finished. The lady will be very happy.

    Roush Edition F-150

I've got a '98 Roush Ford F-150 to work on this weekend. I'm fortunate enough that the young lady who owns this truck is out of town for a few days and intrusted it to me through the weekend, so I should have plenty of time to work my magic.

    The Truck...

This truck is cared for very well, and despite the best of intentions, this thing is swirl city. Its in immaculate mechanical condition for a vehicle with over 117,000 miles on it, so we'll get that paint back up to par.

    The Test Spot...
    Before

    After

We're shooting for about an 85% swirl-free finish, and it looks like a couple of passes of #80 should do it. Of course, I'm more than familiar with Murphy's Law, so we'll see.....

    More to come.......
