the wife has been bugging me about ignoring her truck, while I spend so much time on my car, so I decided to give her truck a quick polish today.
Here is a before shot, look spretty good considering it is going on 11 months since I last applied NXT to it. (I know, the wife is correct, I have been ignoring it)
doesn't look that bad from afar, but trust me, it needed some attention. Here is a close up of what the paint looked like. Very little feflection or shine.
so, after a wash with Gold Class Shampoo, and a complete clay bar, I was ready.
First off, I did the entire truck with ColorX using my G100 on 4.5 and an, then went over some of the problem spots, (both rear quarters) with #80 @ 4.5 on an 8006.
then two applications of #21 @ 4.0 using a 9006, both removed with the G100 and a MF bonnet.
Here are the afters.
Here is a comparison with the before and after shot of the paint, from the same angle, and almost the same spot on the truck.
Before
And After
Wife is much happier now ..
hope this wasn't too long a post.
