  • Cobra - Complete

This Cobra was tackled over a 3 day period in which I had posession of the car. Because of the amount of pictures, I had hosted the write up on my company site here : http://seabreezedetailing.com/cobra.htm

Looks amazing! If you don't mind, could you let us know what products you used to restore the wheels to such a beautiful finish?

OH THE HORROR! A COBRA WITH A CH-CH-CHEVY ENGINE!!!!!

Stellar work by the way! Impressive!
In the article you say that the rims showed some etching, what exactly causes this? Did you use NXT metal polish to restore them?

Etching on billet wheels is caused by using harsh chemicals in the cleaning process. The owner used a wheel cleaner on the rims a few weeks back. Billet Aluminum is a raw, uncoated metal, and most will only let them see soap and water for this reason.

Hey, maybe now the car might actually run half-decent :p

Just remember, we chevy guys put ford rear ends in our cars on a regular basis.

Hehe, the brake rotors are beyond me. I think the owner is having the Brembo kit installed. Cross Drilled and Slotted w/ the 4 piston calipers.
