  • The Nightmare after Christmas...

    1999 Lexus RX300
    140,000 miles

I don't think it's ever been cleaned. The fella has a dog, and it goes everywhere with him. The whole interior was covered in fur. The leather seats had mud and crud ground into them. The carpets were saturated in coffee, mud, sand, salt, and every other nastiness you can think of... the smell was unimaginable.
The exterior was just as bad. Every body panel needed major correction to get rid of paint scuffs and scratches. The headlights were badly damaged.

    Products used on exterior:
M105 applied w/ Soft Buff 2.0 cutting pad (FLEX 3401)
M205 applied w/ Soft Buff 2.0 finishing pad (FLEX 3401)
M26 applied w/ Lake County red finishing pad (Griots polisher)
    Wheel Acid on pitted wheels

That was probably his "beater"...his $40,000 "beater". Shame how he let that SUV go to the "dogs" LOL. However....great job on restoring its integrity!!

It was the guys kid's car. He gave it to him, and it looked like a car that was "given" to someone.

I'll be doing the Dad's new CLS63 AMG in the Spring.

That is some fantastic work. Hopefully, the kid will read the paper mat left behind and take some pride in the vehicle!

Looks really good Jake. I dont think I would have the patience to do that interior.

Congrats, the results are to be proud of! I can't believe that some people are so dirty. So you have the money to buy a Lexus but not to keep it clean?

Nice work. Disgusting interior. Might possibly qualify for the automotive equivalent of the TV series, "Hoarders."

That interior is only slightly dirtier than my wife's Volvo. She hauls the dog (and neighbor's dogs) to the park and after a few weeks it looks like that. Thankfully, it can be fixed.

Ohh wow that is a nightmare.....reminds me alot of my wifes car in it's current state. (I have a big job on my hands when spring rolls around!)
Awesome....AWESOME job on turning that Lexus around! Hopefully the owner will take better care of her now that she's all shined up!
                            Keep up the great work!
