Re: Good before/after shots...
Thanks for the clarification, Nick. I'm astounded at the results you achieved, given that you did mainly one pass, and it was with m105!Says a lot about the product, and perhaps more importantly--your technique (applause).
I did about three passes with m105, followed by 2 passes of m205 both w/ 7''
SB 2.0 Yellow polishing pad on speed 5 with the G110 and could only achieve about 60% correction on my mother's beat-up 1997 work truck. 5 hours invested, and all I had time to do was the hood. And it still didn't turn outeven 1/3 as dramatically-awesome as your 1-step correction, haha.
I may have to look into these 6.5'' orange CCS pads that I keep seeing people use...

Either he's really good with M105 and a DA or he's gotten really good with Photoshop making "before" photos look really bad!

"I hate it" he replies.
"Hate it", I ask, "but why?"
He turns to look at me and says "Because it means that now even you can detail almost as good as I do."
Funny guy, that Joe.

So, single-stage w/ m105...
What pad, and what machine, and how many "passes" for a given work area did you use? (Assuming a work area would be a ~14''X14'' square--you name it. Also, I don't know what a "pass" is either, because the thread about it didn't enlighten me). Please inform!
Single stage meaning 1 product and 1 pass(see above), this does not mean single stage type paint(no clear coat).
This was a Harley edition Ford truck, base and clear coat. 1 pass(see above) around the entire truck with M105, and a couple of spots where I had to make 2 passes(see above).
I'm sure you're even more confused than you were before

Re: Good before/after shots...
What a difference. The clarity of the paint is fantastic.
