    Derek,

The Cat looks great. Now I know where you have been hiding for a couple of days.

Very nice! I'd love to own one on air ride and 20 inch Intros.

Thanks.
Hold them under warm to hot water in a utility sink or your kitchen sink, (upon approval from the better half), and than add some dish soap and start squishing them. Squish all the residue out of them and then rinse and air dry or throw them into the washing machine.

Not perfect but it works good enough to re-use them.

Thanks Mike...I'll get on that - I sealed it up in a Zip-Loc bag as soon as I was done with it, so hopefully it didn't dry out and get ruined.

Now, if only a few more folks would carry these up here in the Great White North...so frustrating not being able to find product.

Re: 1966 Buick Wildcat Spring Detail

I took a couple photos of the Wildcat while out at an event today. We had it and the '41 at an assisted living home...they host the event as a charity fundraiser and for the residents to get out. The older cars in attendance (two 41 Buicks and a couple of late '30s cars) really attracted their attention.

You inspired me to start on our "66 Skylark GranSport...nowhere near the finish level of yours, but a fun car!

                  Thanks.

Good luck with the GS Stacy...if nothing else, it should be faster than the Wildcat as it's lighter car with the same engine. To be perfectly honest, a little bit of effort on your part and the Meguiar's products and the help here can really make a big difference. As Mike likes to talk about, the goal is to take the paint to its maximum potential. I'm not there with all my cars, but I'm making progress and people seem to be liking the results. We were in Lincoln City last summer with the '41 on a trailer - we'd been at the BCA National meet at Seattle, then visited with in-laws there. It's a nice part of the world.

Guilty. With 2 year old paint, it should look good...it has just been used a bit and is picking up some scratches. I think I stated something about not being sure where to put the thread in the first post since I'm aware it is far from extreme.

i bet they enjoyed the old cars.

that show i told you about in Warroad goes by the nursing homes and such after the show for a cruise. the smiles and finger pointing i saw as i was with them was priceless. as i am guessing many of the older cars were what they had when they were young. so to them it brings back memories.

sure hope i get to see your rides in person sometime since we are so close.
