    where did the dent go, to the right of the discolored area above the door? The first pic shows a dent, the after pic has no dent. do you practive paintless dent removal? I've been tinkering with the idea.

    kinda goes hand in hand with detailing.

    I would like to get a paint thickness guage. Are there any places that sell these that are not ridiculously expensive?

    Thanks guys! The girl that owns this vehicle was shocked! She just knew the paint wasn't repairable. And to be honest, with the paint being as thin as it is, I wasn't real sure how many defects I was going to be able to remove. It's a long ways from perfect, but it bought her a couple of more years to enjoy her car before she has to worry about repainting it

    Yes, aftermarket paint that was very thin! 3.2mils was the thickest measurement I got.

    That definitely was some swirling. Great job on the paint. Is that an aftermarket paint job? What process did you go with?
