Great look to the car now! Weird that the car oxidized so quickly.

For example, if I were to remove oxidation from a CLEARCOATED blue car, would the oxidation come off on my pad blue ?? (like single stage)
            QUOTE]

Possibly. I have a 96 Tacoma that was in bad shape when I bought it. The paint was so oxidized that the wash water turned white the first time I washed it. Normally, clearcoat paint should not leave any color on the pad, however, if the clearcoat is badly deteriorated it will.

                Great job, Justin.

One of the reasons I'm here learning about detailing is b/c I just got our son an Evo IX - so I REALLY appreciate what you did with this '03.

That owner doesn't deserve such a fine automobile(just playing), how could one possibly let a sweet car like that get so bad But you sir made them worthy again, it looks great!

Great job on the evo. I really liked the half and half shots. You really got the red to shine, way to go.

Once again Justin, you are the man. That Evo was REALLY neglected. You brought it back to showroom condition. NICE work.

Quick question, when the pad absorbs (or removes) that much paint, is the pad no longer usable? My question is what steps did you take to remove the paint from the pad. Thanks!

The customer is about to sell this vehicle so he wanted it extremely clean. He has over 10k in mods to it. 329HP to the wheels on pump gas; 389WHP on 104 octane! Here's what it got:
                              (Actually took some before shots!)

                              NXT Tech Wash
(Clayed while during the wash cycle)

                              (EDGE2K Yellow Pad at #6)
Had to clean this thing out 6 times! And it's double sided!

                              XMT Machine Glaze
(EDGE2K Orange Pad at #4 setting)

                              Souveran Liquid Wax-2 coats
(EDGE2K White Pad at #3 setting)

i was curious... you mention using a yellow, orange, and white pad. but in this pic, the pad is green?
