  • detailed first time with NXT wax *pics*

    i had a friends car for the day, and detailed it...
    it had alot of fine scratches from those drive through car wash brushes, and cob webbing, which i could not get out fully, as ill show you in the pics....

    products used were
    gold class wash and conditioner
    claying system
    #9 swirl remover
    NXT tech wax ( my first time ive used this product)

    one half of the bonnet:

    mirror finish


    i did a quick degrease and detail of the engine bay aswell
    before:

    and now, one half of my bonnet still has some cobwebbing...
    what product in teh meguairs range will make this easier to remove?

    Looks good... even did a little work under the hood! Did you use a dressing under the hood(bonnet)?

    Do you have ScratchX? I have not used it but many people speak very highy of the product, it applies by hand.

    I should first ask did you use a PC or was it all by hand?

      i have scratch-x, but for some reason, it doesnt work well for me...
      i use heaps of elbow grease, but just doesnt come out to what i expect...
      above i applied all product with a random orb

      for the engine bay, i jsut spra some wd40 around

        wow that`s a major improvement you got there..looks great the car it really pops out the metallic flakes
