My 2 year old daughter follows her Mom like a shadow. One day while cleaning our living room, our daughter decided to pitch in; she decided to clean our 2 week old Sony Bravia flat screen with a Mega Block!
My wife called almost right away, hoping that if she did something quickly it might help. We all know this is not the case, but she was upset; the TV was a big purchase.
When I got home, the scratches stood out like chalk on a black board with the TV turned off, not noticable when the turned on.
I notice that the screen was actually plastic. I went to my local Napa store and picked up a bottle of Mequiars #10 plastic polish; came home; made 2 passes and honestly there are no signs of the scratches. Not one. If anything, the screen may be a little darker than before, but in my opinion it's added depth to the picture.
What an outstanding product. I discovered #10 in an old dusty garage/shop about 10 years ago. The mechanic told me about using it on snowmobile windscreens and then proved it to me. If you've ever owned a snowmobile that was trail ridden, you know how common scratched windscreens are, and how difficult it can be to remove; with out #10 of course.
