Folks,
I had the opprtunity to be a tester for a bunch of Meguiar's new accessories and products. With the exception to the chamois, I liked them all. So many brushes, so little truck (a Hemi even).
It sure was fun "messin'" with all of the new stuff. BUT recently I found myself with a very dirty (not muddy) truck and not much time to wash it, I confess I went back to my old ways. A five gallon bucket of sudsy Deep Crystal Car Wash and the Deep Pile Chenille Wash Mitt. One bucket, not two. I used the Car Wash and the Versa Angle Wheel face brush for both the wheels and tires and the Small Versa Angle Brush for the bug covered grill and front bumper. I dried the truck with a large microfiber towel. I used NXT glass cleaner for the windows.
The job was a "quickie" and I was glad to have a truck that was pretty darn clean by most people's standards. Not a clean truck by the standards of most folks on this forum, but clean enough for the drive down my five miles of dusty gravel road.
It's hard to beat a good old chenille mitt when you need a quick wash, especially when your truck won't be clean when you finally hit the paved highway
