I recently joined a new Australian Mercedes Benz forum. For my second post I added this:
Black looks great when it is clean!
Coupe. I considered the cabriolet but whilst I think they look stunning with the roof down, they look bitsy with the roof up. Mind you the steel roof as on the SLK or SL, is best of both worlds!
Meguiars products I use:
Scratch X - can't be more impressed by this product
Plastx - great for sat nav screens.
NXT Generation Tech Wax - very good, no white powder on trim
NXT Generation Car Wash -
Deep Crystal System Paint Cleaner - amazing
Gold Class Trim Detailer - so easy, so good
Final Inspection - smells great!
No Smear Glass Cleaner - works as name says!
.....and no this is not a paid endorsement for Meguiars!
I haven't tried the carper cleaner. But I fear with my 3 little kids that the only way to clean carpet is with a Gerni high pressure cleaner!

Anyway after posting the above during the week, I thought I had better get serious and use some of the products again....
Weather was wonderful over the week end, so I decided to spend a day with the CLK and Meguiars. Washed with NXT Car Wash. Treated a couple of scratches with Scratch X - again this stuff is worth its weight in gold. Clayed with Meguiars - first time I have ever clayed. Excellent results. Then used Deep Crystal System Paint Cleaner. As I mentioned above - truly "amazing" results. Finally NXT Tech Wax.
The Benz is blacker than black! Shine so deep, it stops traffic!
Next week end, the interior gets a go!
