NXT "pop top" can

For those of you have overtightened the new NXT paste wax can, you can easily "pop" it open without even using a screw driver. (I'll bet Meguiar's will change the seal on this can really soon or else print a *big* warning on the lid.)

How do you do that without denting the can?

The seal may be tight but the threads on the can and lid aren't really threads.The lid will come off with some firm but gentle prying with your fingers. I certainly wouldn't make a habit of opening the can this way, but it will work. I just tried it again. It's early Sunday morning and my fingers are barely working.

I tried that, then I dented the can. I didn't get the part about gentle prying. The can still seals well though.
