Fortunately, I don't have to worry about any tiny, leftover droplets. Our water supply is so soft, it barley registers on my aquarium's hardness scale kit. As a result, I have no water drop stains to deal with.

For the rest of us unlucky saps, the combo method is a great option. I find it is the fastest and most thorough way to dry my car.

In fact, I dried an entire 4 seater airplane with 1 super suede and 1 waffle weave...and the waffle weave was still mostly dry, and never wrung out!

A thread about water hardness would be a good idea.

I'd like to find out who has hard water, and who doesn't. Course, I'm referring to city water, as I'm sure all well water is full of minerals.

Wringing out a Waffle Weave is very tough by hand and almost impossible to get it 100% dry.

I have two of those, and I have never been able to dry a car with just one. They are hard to wring out as you said.

Try using the Super Suede for the first pass, and the waffle weave for the second pass. I have a strong feeling you will be very impressed
