  • Greetings!

Just picked up a 2020 Mazda MX-5 GT in Soul Red Crystal Metallic and plan to use Meg's for my detail and care. Thought joining this community would be a good move. So far I'm using Meg's Gold Class High Gloss Premium Quick Detailer and really like what it does (though I wish it also added a bit of oleophobic treatment to my existing carnauba wax). Anybody happen to know if the most recent version of Gold Class High Gloss Premium Quick Detailer has any graphene in it? I noticed that after buffing it out, if I'm not careful there is sometimes a black goopy dot (about 1/3 the size of a grain of rice) on the paint.

Welcome!!! Great looking car and amazing color.
There should be zero graphene in Gold Class I would say.

Welcome! We do not have any products with "graphene". A picture of this black goopy dot would be helpful! This way we can check it out and advise from there. Our Gold Class Line is a great way to go if you are super concerned with obtaining the absolute in wet gloss, is the reason many use this line.

Thanks! The next time I wipe it down, I’ll take a photo and post it. Does Meguiars make a quick detailing spray that I can use to “wash” (in between regular washes) that also adds an oleophobic coating?
