    Hi all,
I have been using Meguiars waxes and polishes ( #3 or #7 polish followed by #26 yellow wax) for over 25 years. Always admired the deep color and staying power. Just bought a 2023 BMW X1 and decided to try the Hybrid Ceramic Wax in the bright yellow bottle. Is it just me? WOW, what a deep shine. I applied the HCW with my random orbital polisher, let it sit on the panel for 4-5 minutes and then buffed off. Easy On, Easy Off. Paint and plastic trim all look great.

    Welcome!
Megs has had some amazing products over the years, you can't go wrong with any. The HCW is amazing. So is the Ultimate line. I have M27 as a base on my vehicle, it's maybe a very tiny step above HCW, almost the same. Minus any wax in it.
    Your X1 looks fantastic!

Now you got me thinking IF there would be any benefit to using M 27 Before Or After the HCW?! Always looking ti improving the shine and staying power.

I believe in the threads when M27 was released it was mentioned it could be used as a base, and going forward one could maintain with M799, HCW, HSW, HCD.
I have M27 and use additional coats of M27, M799, HSW and HCD to maintain. I have HCW but have not used it in the mix, I just reach for more M27. Now, I do find HCW a great product as well.

Welcome to Meguiar's Online! Happy to hear you are having fun with our Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax. I would use up your Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax and then maybe try something different if you prefer. And for now maybe focus on other areas to work on / improve. I do not imagine you would notice a huge difference.

Got a Question; I was using McKee's Polishing Pad Cleaner to remove dirt & polis/wax from foam pads for my dual action polisher. I've recently started using Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic wax on my BMW and noticed the pads no longer come clean. Obviously, Ceramic Coatings are not the same as #3 or #7 Polish or #23 Yellow Wax. So what is the best way to clean Ceramic Coatings from foam pads????
