Hello forum,
I've decided my car needs a bit more attention in regard to detailing since it's been neglected for years. I've really only washed it. Not to long ago I used Meguiar's Ultimate Compound to remove yellowing (oxidation?) from a section on the back of my white Subaru forester that would not come clean by hand washing no matter what I did. WOW! This stuff works! I've also used it to remove paint transfer and small blemishes. However, I simply used the UC, got the blemish off and went on my way not realizing in needs to be waxed. If I can figure out how to post a picture you will see why my car needs some attention and why I am on this forum to get some help from experienced users!
I've picked up some other products starting with the clay bar kit, scratch x 2.0 and ultimate paste wax but I'll head over to the detailing 101 section to ask my questions.
