  • Spots in finish

I own a red 2007 350Z, original finish in near immaculate condition. Florida sun challenged the finish so I bought a woven polyesther cover, light weight, but best sun reflective properties. Had it on car for several weeks thru hot, humid weather, removed one day and was appalled to see white blotches all over hood and trunk. I'm guessing water was trapped under cover and permeated clear coat? Is there any way to restore the finish w/o recoating? It has lightened a bit over the last few weeks, but not vanished. I had just polished with meguairs 2 weeks before cover arrived, and it looked pristine . . . . then this. Needless to say I'm blown away.

    Any advice appreciated.

Zowner, not quite sure where you are trying to link those images from, but the URL called out is very odd. That, and it's calling out .tiff images, which won't play well in any web browser. Since those images are not showing up, can you give it another shot please?
