Hi guys, been waxing and detailing autos as a hobby and passion almost all my life. I have a 2006 Lifted custom Tacoma which doesnt shine like it used too. Looking forward to learning some new tricks like wet sanding. Always used Mequiars, never stray form what works.... (got that from my dad)

Re: First Timer in a forum
Welcome to MOL!
You'll find plenty of advice here on how to make that truck shine like it used to.Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Welcome it's a great site with lots of help. But just to let u know u prob don't need to wet sand ur paint . So definitely do alot of research here and ask all the questions u can cuz there are a ton of knowledgable people and professional detailers that will help u as much as u can. Also including pictures of ur car will help us out when trying access what's needed for ur car. Plus there's alot of people who like to see after shots too. So look and enjoy!
