I am the Detail Supervisor in a Toyota dealership. Most of our work is full reconditions for the sales department, (aprox. 1400 per year). We aim to get our fair share of retail business in the near future. 7 months ago I didn't know or care anything about detailing. To my good fortune, I'm in it now and love it. I have been obsessed with learning as much as I can as fast as I can. Thanks to forums and businesses like this, I have learned a lot. Looking forward to picking the brains of you veterans and helping out if I can.

Re: Hello from southern Illinois.
In our shop, we have pneumatic DAs and a couple of RBs. For my personal use I purchased a G110 but I haven't gotten to play with it yet. I actually get to play very little at work. Correction is my favorite aspect of the game, but my other responsibilities tend to keep me away from it. No pics yet but I'll try to learn.

Re: Hello from southern Illinois.
Welcome to Meguiar's Online! Have you seen our D/A Microfiber Correction System? This is used by many reconditioning facilities and dealerships. More information on these products can be referenced at the below links:

Using Meguiar's D/A Microfiber Correction System
The techniques presented in the below article for addressing severe defects would also be a good reference as well.

Re: Hello from southern Illinois.
Thanks Nicholas, we use the DAMF system daily. We also use Pro Speed (M100) with wool on the RB when needed. We also have been dabbling with the s3000 pads. We have a 3" DA and our 6 inchers. The link you presented to me was very helpful. I'm convinced that with caution and common sense, damp sanding is going to be very usefull. Thanks again. Natron
