  • An old guy with an old car.

I think that I bought my first bottle of Meguiars around 1955, and waxed my mothers car with it. Back then the product was sold by GM dealerships, and it came in fancy rectangular glass bottles. If I remember correctly, it was a yellow color, and worked well. You built muscles when it came time to polish it off. Things have changed a lot since then, and I haven't kept up with all those changes. Now, I am an older man with a collector car that I can remember when the model was first introduced. One of the biggest changes is that today, the days go by a lot faster, and a dollar doesn't go nearly as far as it did back then.
I will post my question in the detailing forum shortly.
    Thanks
    Junkman

Welcome to MOL! Sure would be cool if you had some of those old bottles. Some on the forums collect them. What kind of collector car do you have?

This is my latest ride... It is a 1969 Miller Meteor Cadillac ambulance, that a friend just completed the painting for me. Not exactly a frame off restoration, however, everything that could be unbolted, was removed, except for the bare body from the chassis.
