  • Beginning to feel Comfortable in this detail world again

Hi everyone, I have been out of the industry for about 7 years, selling window tint for a couple of manufacturers. I am back due to my layoff. I reopened my business in February 2012 in Arizona. I have been looking around this site and registered a bit back but didn't introduce myself. I am feeling comfortable again detailing and tinting. I got out of the business 7 years ago cause I was tired of working so hard, only to realize that this is my thing as it helps me release my inner stresses and helps me think clearly as I work out doing detailing and window tinting. You guys are very helpful in updating me to get reaquainted with the products and new products that have come out since. I have been mostly on than off the past 20 years in detailing and tint. Thought I wanted to be a part of corporate america only to realize that this is what makes me happy !!!! Glad to be back!!! Look forward to chattin it up with you guys.

What a neat post, welcome. There are some AZ folks here, maybe they'll see this.

Hi Joe, it would be great to meet some of these guys here in AZ. I have met two of them and it's always great to trade secrets. It's always nice to meet the ones who realize that there is enough business out here to feed everyone and keep things amiable and when you get too busy you share with those who take this business as seriously and pay attention to detail as you would if it were your own. Sorry it took so long for me to post this but I'm still learning the in's and out's on this site. I was trying to teach myself to set a tag line and a digital signature for every time I post. ;-( No luck yet.

Re: Beginning to feel Comfortable in this detail world again

Welcome, I am currently living in Los Angeles but I lived and grew up in Phx. I only really got into detailing recently but always loved car washes. I do have fond memories of going with my mom to Danny Family Car Wash at Cactus and Tatum. I always loved it because of the outside area with the ponds and stuff. I was a kid and didn;t know much more. Then when I got my first car, to keep the story short, I stopped robbery of the actually Danny's Family and was hooked up with free car washes for a very long time. So though I am here now, I do have good memories of PHX and car washes. Thanks for bringing it back and thanks for joining up.

              Here's how you do that:

From this page, or from any other thread page, go up to "Forum Actions" underneath the gold navigation bar up top and select "Edit Profile" from the drop down menu.

On the resulting page, scroll down to the navigation menu on the left side and click on "Edit Signature".

From there you can edit to your heart's content - and the forum rules, of course!
