  • Hi from Illinois

Yay for living in a rust belt.

I love Meguiar's stuff and came in to email them a question but saw the active community forum.

Here's the black car that prompted my question in detailing 101. Plenty of go and plenty of cornfields, and as you can see, plenty of weather to keep my detailing skills sharp. I also have a 59 Edsel which is also black and has kept me plenty busy too.

Welcome to the forum. Someone in a forum has the signature "Black is not a color, its a part-time job". I had a black Jeep but now we own white & silver cars, I'll never go back to black. I can't remember ever seeing a black Edsel, is it a re-paint?

Welcome to MOL. As a MidWest born and raised boy I know what you're dealing with during the winter months. Great pic, too - I remember driving roads like that when I lived in Indy for a couple of years, watching the storms roll in all day long!
