Hi all, just joined. Hoping to get some insight on keeping my new finish like new for many years to come. 72 GTO painted Sapphire trance with Spies Hecker paint and clear.
Got busy with engine install and never got to buff it out after the color sanding but the paint job is sooooo slick that you cant fart with out it showing, seriously though you cant even touch the paint with out having to wipe it off with detailer. I was told this might be a problem but never thought it would be this bad.
Im thinking it may need a good buffing but dont want to color sand again or pay someone to do it all for me. The problem is I bet that clear is pretty hard now. The car is always kept garaged and is never driven in the rain
