Hey all - fabulous forum here - some great info! I recently got back into a black car (apparently I was bored or something 
) Anyways, it came with some slight dealer installed swirl marks

Should I wash with dawn first to remove any old/dealer stuff, then clay, then compound (205 applied by hand) then wax? Does that sound right? or should I throw an extra wash in there after the clay?
Don't have any pics of swirls, but they are there. Any help would be appreciated
PS - ill try to get a pic of swirls when the sun comes out....
