Hey everyone i detail to make money on the side. Do any of you know of a great carpet cleaner machine, because now i scrub the carpets by hand and the carpets get way to wet and they have a hard time drying in this cold Wisconsin weather. Is there a machine out there i could buy that u take one swipe and it lifts all the dirt and grime off the carpet and dries instantly with great results.

    Thanx

Bissell LGM is a popular unit. However, I have found I can do better by hand the secret is not to soak your carpets with water. Spray your APC on the surface and let it dwell 15-30 minutes, then hit it with your mixture of water & apc via a brush/mitt. Vacume as much as you can then scrub super hard with some terry cloth towels and vacume once more. At this point turn the heater on high using the floorboard option and close your doors.

    * Very important info > Don't close your doors all the way unless you have a spare key near by. You don't want to lock the keys in the car whilst its running. Another thing, keep your eye on the temp gauge to make sure she's not running hot

    Good Luck

I use the lgm. I also extract a couple of times to speed up drying time.
