    Greetings, Fellow Scrubbers and Polishers,

Thought I'd use my first post to check in and show off. Here's some shots of my ride, a 2007 Honda Element that I bought used on June 1st of this year. I just checked and it has 18387 miles.

I'm taking a good enough approach on this one since it's a daily driver. It has plenty of road rash. So far I've found, I think around four, paint chips less than 1mm in size, all down past the clear coat and a couple are down to the metal. My good enough solution calls for a good rub down with Ultimate Compound followed by a massage of Cleaner Wax and monitor. I have a local mechanic/body man that restores muscle cars (specializing in Mopars) that can help me along as needed.

Last night I was washing the beast and my neighbor while walking the dog asked what I was doing washing my car at 10 O'clock at night. I gave her a quick explanation of the hard water spot thing and she turned around and walked away.

This morning I was in the garage rubbing off 'only God knows what' from the rear fender lips and the neighbor, this time the husband, asked me how much I'd charge to detail his pickup truck.

Heck, I'd be willing to do it as a favor - I just need to think of a fair favor in return!
