Have been lurking for a while and finally registered. Just getting started on proper car care. I'm and avid off-roader (Jeeps) and Mustang enthusiast. Just trying to keep em looking good. Looking for to learning a thing or two and another way to keep the wallet empty.

Yes.Detailing is good for emptying your wallet,unless you make a living out of it,in which case you can fill your wallet..

It happens but I try to avoid it. The most I typically get is some light pinstriping. If your careful you can get by without damage but stuff does happen.
